All a Psychiatrist Needs

Commentaires : Adequate and in some ways a superior replacement for my old EMR, which was designed by and for psychiatrists, that shut down. It took a fair bit of work to set-up PQ the way I needed it initially, which was stressful working on a short timeline, but it now runs quite smoothly.

Avantages :

Highly customizable templates, ability to do everything I need as a private practice psychiatrist within one platform (including eRx/EPCS, scheduling, billing, claims filing, and patient communication), competitive pricing on credit card processing and all-in cost.

Inconvénients :

The UI could be a bit more intuitive -- for instance, the settings for different features are spread all over the platform and can be hard to find, the template editor is rather unintuitive (but, for a nominal fee, they will build forms for you), and certain common workflow tasks require a few more clicks than my old purpose-built EMR (likely because PQ is targeting a broad audience that has different needs, not just psychiatrists).

Great practice Management System

Commentaires : We primarily choose PracticeQ for its customer service component; I wanted questions answered quickly and needed to choose a company that responded right away.

Avantages :

The Integration of all forms, documents, payments in one place.

Inconvénients :

The lack of customizable features and cost associated with needing to make a change to forms, uploads, etc.

PracticeQ review

Commentaires : I have had a great experience with PracticeQ - the customer service is great; emails were always answered quickly, and they provided me with multiple zoom intro sessions. I took a lot of time to fully understand the EMR before moving forward, and that was critical to me utilizing it fully.

Avantages :

Great customer service e-prescribe is easy to use and efficient the note forms are easy to edit I like being able to send forms to my patients and have it automatically uploaded

Inconvénients :

no lab order and data integration hard to color coordinate different types of appts wish there was a way to eliminate things we don't need

Inconvénients :

That there isn’t a dedicated app - it’s still accessible via the internet, but can be difficult to navigate/chart on a phone.

Loving my Practice Q

He is easy to understand and very patient in answering my questions. He is what I like most about PracticeQ. Great customer assistance!

Inconvénients :

I am new to PracticeQ and tried setting it up myself and was unsuccessful. I am having to hire someone to set up my PracticeQ to use for my Lactation Business. I really appreciate the discount for the initial 2 months because it may take me that long to set it up. So in the meantime, I am paying for my current charting system and PracticeQ. The discount makes it more palatable to have to pay for both during this timeframe.

Avantages :

PracticeQ allowed us to centralize all communication with clients across scheduling, intake, paperwork, and billing into one portal. We saved money and time.

Practice cue needs work in the area of reports and managing billing.

Love PracticeQ!

Commentaires : We started with PracticeQ in 2019 in order to use electronic forms with our clients. In 2022 we decided to leave our server-based EHR and use a web-based platform for all of our PMS/EHR needs. We found that PracticeQ provided more than any other platform we researched in terms of form/note customization, client portal and client appt mgt, auto-pay options for client invoices, claims mgt, communication tools for staff and clients, and more. We provide 18,000 sessions annually and PracticeQ is able to meet our needs. I was concerned about not having a VAR or someone dedicated to solve issues for me, but the support staff at PracticeQ has always been sufficient in solving any issues I have had. They have gone above and beyond to provide good customer care, and have given me all the one-on-one time needed to complete set up and problem solve any issues that came up during implementation and after.

Avantages :

Client portal allows clients to schedule appts and manage invoices. This, for us, was a driving feature as we looked for a PMS/EHR replacement for our old system Medisoft. We did a lot of research, and no other online platform was able to provide what we wanted in terms of allowing clients to schedule, requiring payment and stored payment methods, client email and text communication, and HIPAA-compliant messaging with clients. Auto-pay features and payment method storage options Form and note customization - no one does it better in terms of freedom to create your own templates Customer service is great Client messaging system and internal staff messaging system - has improved our communication tremendously and made less work for our admin staff Easy to chart on clients and easy-to-use for my clinicians (who are not always tech-savvy) Work flow options that assign tasks to staff based on several prompts (note completion, form submission, etc) Co-signing notes and sharing notes/chart documents with clients and third parties is very easy. Integrates easily with Zoom for Telecounseling appts. Easy to send links for meetings to clients. Prescribing Medication and sending scripts to pharmacies - this is very easy to do through PracticeQ. It was very easy to set up providers to prescribe controlled substances electronically through PracticeQ. This process was going to be a nightmare in our system, and we were shocked at how easy it was through PracticeQ.

Inconvénients :

We are a larger practice, and making the move to PracticeQ from Medisoft involved accepting that some of the more robust billing features that Medisoft provided would not be possible with PracticeQ. The biggest issue we have faced is that PracticeQ is not set up for secondary insurance billing. This is something that our biller must do manually at this time. However PracticeQ is very responsive to suggestions their customers make about how to improve their platform, and I am confident that in the near future this feature will be available. There are some other nit-picky things that I would like to eventually see changed but these are small and would not make a lot of sense in a brief review of the product. PracticeQ has a feature where customers can submit suggestions for future product updates, and PracticeQ is always rolling out new features and updates.

EHR Quality

Commentaires : My experience has been excellent. From start to finish the setup was easy and I was supported. If I have issues now, I am able to get the help I need and it is generally product knowledge rather than issues with the product itself.

Avantages :

I am appreciative of the support and the ease of learning and using the program. I have felt supported and I am able to do everything I need to do with ease and there are still aspects of the product I don't use.

Inconvénients :

There is nothing I don’t like. I have been pleased with the product and service I have received.

I would like to put five star review for the great job [sensitive content hidden] has helped me through on-boarding process. I am a beginner using intake Q and had a lot of troubles when start using billing function. she not only answered me questions on time, sometimes around 730 on Friday afternoon, but also scheduled two zoom meetings with me for trouble shooting. she likes billing and she enjoys trouble shooting for clients. I think she really deserves promotion or a bonus for the excellent job she has done to the client. she is intelligent, resourceful and efficient and patient. If not without her help, I would not have figured out the problems so quickly. I highly recommend her. look forward to her video tutorials and this will highly benefit a lot of clients using intake Q.

Inconvénients :

customer service. I would really love to have some interaction with customer service. one option is that you can make some video tutorials over specific topic so that it's more intuitive, reading articles is difficult when you have a EHR with thousands functions.

PracticeQ is one of the best services our agency has ever chosen

Commentaires : I can't stress this enough: the customer service, even long after sales and implementation, has been some of the best I've ever experienced. Same day engagement, careful problem solving and follow-up, really going above and beyond.

Avantages :

We only use PracticeQ for electronic form management, deployment and submission; however this was a crucial aspect of our business and we needed an effective solution for sending and receiving electronic forms to/from clients. PracticeQ is incredibly simple to use, feature, rich, and the customer service is some of the most responsive and helpful of any product I've ever used.

Inconvénients :

Truly, PracticeQ delivers exactly what we need at very competitive price. Rather than a con, I will again note that we only needed a solution for electronic form delivery and receipt from clients, and not other aspects of a full Practice solution. So I can't speak to those features. But from the point of intake, and forms that need periodically renewed or updated, PracticeQ is an easy 10/10

Great electronic medical record/practice management

Commentaires : I was forced out of Luminello and went with this instead of Simple Practice and am happy I did. Everything has been great so far. Almost anything I want to do is doable.

Avantages :

lots of options, tech forward, very customizable. API integrations are great. Scriptsure is better than Dr. First in my opinion.

Inconvénients :

Took a bit to set up, with lots of options the learning curve is a bit longer.

Improved efficiency

Commentaires : Transitioning to PracticeQ has helped our overall office efficiency. No EHR system is perfect, but PracticeQ has been the best option we've seen so far

Integration of forms is great and helps with efficiency.

Inconvénients :

Lack of secondary billing - we hope PracticeQ will add this feature as it would change our 4 star rating to a 5 star!

Pros and cons

Commentaires : Overall it has been great. Getting help with new questions as my company is newer as been a much better experience then it was with simple practice

I like that most things you need for a practice are in one spot.

Inconvénients :

-Supervisor roles are very confusing to set up for supervisors that may not also be seeing clients on their own calendar. -I love the form features to creat forms but would be nice to have one that is not necisarrily a note or a intake like forms to send to providers outside of the practice to fill out .i.e.

Form creator There is a data base full of forms to utilize; however, the custom form feature is easy if you need something more specific.

Inconvénients :

I have had several glitches within the set up requiring customer service involvement. They are prompt to fix the issues. Mental Health intake- unnecessary required boxes that halted the patient intake process. Also quickly resolved by customer service.

Customer Service Saved Me

Avantages :

That it is affordable and customizable. It is great with integrating zoom, eprescribing, etc.

Having to build the system on your own. Also, not being able to call customer support with questions.
