Avantages :

We appreciate the accurate and multiple facets of InTime ; such as the scheduling, OT Posting and Paid Duty posting and tracking.

Inconvénients :

Also, our chief wants the daily roster to show many different things and I often have trouble getting the notes to show up on the roster.

A Scheduling Dream for Law Enforcement

Avantages :

Very few applications our Department uses work with ease. This is the exception. The software is tailored (and fully customizable) to meet law enforcement needs. The customer service is top-tier, and the InTime team overall is genuinely a joy to work with.

Inconvénients :

The backend of the app was a little confusing at first, having walked in with no experience or exposure. Locating instructional resources was also not very obvious at first; our rep quickly helped with this though!

Commentaires : My experience has been great. Everyone I speak with is helpful, professional, forthcoming, and knowledgeable.

Avantages :

I love how customizable it is. There are so many options available to meet your scheduling needs. No matter what they are. The possibilities with locations, units, hours modifiers, posts, leave types, and filters are incredible. There are so many unintended and creative solves for unique issues as well. It is very fun to toy around with.

Inconvénients :

Inconsistency in reports. I think that most reports should generally have a similar layout that matches. For example some reports will include the employees full name and their employee number while other reports will only include their name, but it'll be cut off. Reports being restricted to a page size by default is a struggle sometimes.

Small growing service

Commentaires : We love InTime in the areas we are comfortable using. Want to be able to utilize more features to streamline our service especially in our time of growth.

Avantages :

The reports, easy to pull up to date information, historical data and future data.

Inconvénients :

Not enough one on one training time. We have had a new leadership team that inherited the product set up and I feel it does not meet our current and future needs. InTime will be reviewing our current set up and work with us to ensure the changes to our organization will make sense in our InTime program going forward. We are investing in technology and streamlining our processes.

Commentaires : Very good with the needs of my department

Avantages :

Daily schedule, overtime posting, the ability for our officers to have the schedule available with them from home, receive over time needs and be able to sign up for shifts. I like the ability to build out the next year’s schedule quickly

Inconvénients :

I was pulled in without training. Definitely need the training

Intime time saver

Commentaires : Good experience with the product, time saving for payroll time entry.

Avantages :

The efficiency for scheduling and great visual for the supervisors to see real time schedules.

Inconvénients :

Charges for extras that seem to be items that are very commonly used. Ex. Shift bidding.

Commentaires : It's been good for scheduling and finding the where an officer is and for payroll reports. However there are alot of customized reports we would like to be able to do from the data collected from InTime

Avantages :

The ability to view members scheduling and movements

Inconvénients :

The manual involvement with making large organizational changes. Difficulty in retaining historical information in large organizational movements.

Awesome Scheduling/Payroll program for Law Enforcement

Commentaires : I’ve been using InTime for 8 years and it is a fantastic program!

Avantages :

Scheduling is so much easier and more accurate than doing it on paper. They are always adding new modules to the software. Their customer service is the best I’ve ever seen!

Inconvénients :

Would like to have had in-person training when we first started with InTime.

Commentaires : Easy to get a hold of tech support which is a big deal. Most companies you are waiting for assistance.

Avantages :

It is easy to install and setup for each user.

Inconvénients :

Updates need admin credentials to install. I have to manually install on each workstation when updates occur.

Best scheduling solution for Law Enforcement!!

Commentaires : We have had numerous problems with our old scheduling system (Executime) which ended up causing unknown shortages on shifts, resulting in overtime. We used Speedshift many years ago which is what led us back to InTime. I have not heard one negative thing about the scheduling program from our sworn nor civilian staff, which is almost a miracle in and of itself.
The support staff has been extremely helpful and responds to requests very quickly.

Avantages :

The ease of use and layout. You can see all of your personnel on one schedule which is essential for shift coverage and maintaining adequate manpower.

Inconvénients :

That a successful integration with HTE has not been completed yet. This is making it difficult to convince the finance department to transition to InTime for our payroll solution.

Very customizable

Avantages :

InTime is so customizable that even if you have a department that is complex in schedules and pay codes, the team will help.

Inconvénients :

There are so many features that at times it can feel overwhelming. Once you have mastered the basics, other parts fall into Place quickly.

Endless functions

Avantages :

The capabilities of this program are endless. Everyone has different and often complicated needs for their agencies. inTime seems to have thought of them all and more. Our administrator discovers more functionality all the time! If you want to run an efficient department, use inTime!

Intime schedule creates easy to use management of employees

Commentaires : Intime creates ease and more easy to access schedule to get proper coverage.

Avantages :

Leave feature to see who is off on any given day, scheduling feature allows employer to look time in advance to who is working and who is not.

Inconvénients :

The erase feature causes accidental deletions of employees schedules.

InTime Value for Law Enforcement

Commentaires : My experience with InTime has been exceptional.

Avantages :

InTime is designed for law enforcement scheduling. Being able to see an entire month of scheduling at a glance is huge.At one point, the city forced use to go to another product and it was extremely painful as it was designed for firefighter scheduling. Luckly that system crashed hard, and we immediately moved our department back to InTime. Also, the InTime support team rocks! They have quickly responded and resolved any issue that we have had.

Inconvénients :

The initial set-up was very time consuming and tedious at times. However, setting up the system that the city forced us to move to at one point was way more difficult and time consuming.

InTime is a Time Saver

Avantages :

Scheduling is as easy as a click of a button. We can see who has signed up for overtime in real time without having to go into the office and look at a paper list.

Inconvénients :

I would like the mobile version to allow for Timesheets to be approved from a mobile device as well.

Why Use InTime you say?

Commentaires : This is one application we generally have no issues with. Availability is close to perfect. Support is ready to assist with any issue(s) you have and you receive timely return calls when needed. Reliable, stable product.

Avantages :

Will assist you with keeping track of officers on duty, officers well being, staffing requirements, special assignments, vacations, and accruals. So much more.

Inconvénients :

Nothing is perfect, the "wheel" can always use some "tweaking." Special Event staffing can always use room for improvement. Both have been improved upon.

Avantages :

The ability to track overtime usage. I also like the posts function.

Inconvénients :

They system is a little limited on the shift trades. If someone is on a shift trade off, I wish the system would see that as not working that day so that if the person was to sign up for overtime, we would be able to assign that overtime to them.
