A Great Fit for Our Clients

Commentaires : It doesn't get any better than Perfect Venue. Hands down, their support for the overall cost of the service, is downright incredible.

Avantages :

Perfect Venue offers a really nice contrast to so many bigger out-of-the-box venue platforms. We love the flexibility and the accessible price but what I really appreciate most is how they continue to innovate at a respectable pace, how accessible their support is, and how hard the effort to make the product seamless across so many job functions and critical needs.

Inconvénients :

Being a newer platform in the field all of the features on our wish list are not always already available.

Great for Growing Event Revenue

Commentaires : This software has been awesome and is constantly been improving since we starting using it in 2022. We handle multiple restaurant venues and it allows us to book with ease, communicate with clients and within the team easily! We have watched our revenue grow year over year.

Avantages :

Assists with organizing leads and getting proposals out quickly and efficiently. Emailing within the softward keeps all communication in one place so when we turnover events to our coordinators, they have all of the information.

Inconvénients :

Cannot attach more than 10MB. Sometimes photos with venue info or catering menus will be more than that for us. Which will result in having to send multiple emails or emailing outside of the venue software.

Commentaires : Perfect venue is a really solid option for smaller venues. Coming from a software development background, it is well developed, user experience is great, and will have most if not all the features or integrations you'll need.

Avantages :

Easy setup and get started. Great design to make it easy to understand and use. Proposal feature is very well done and our clients appreciate how easy it is to understand what they are paying for.

Inconvénients :

For our small venue it is a great fit. Hoping they will integrate a venue tour scheduler similar to Calendly and a more automated way to remind clients of payments that are upcoming / due.

Perfect venue is Worth it!

Commentaires : Perfect Venue has made booking mistakes a thing of the past - It is intuitive, easy to navigate and provides tools we hadn't even thought about.

Avantages :

The organization and calendar integration has been a life saver. Being able to have a snapshot of all inquiries, bookings and tours in one place without having to manually add them is priceless.

Inconvénients :

Not having the option to import google sheets and docs directly to PV with the entry level plan took a lot of time.

Great UX - Easy Navigation and Use

Ease of use for the platform. For the capacity we need for booking restaurant events, this has everything we need without having a bunch of extra unnecessary features cluttering up the space.

Excellent Experience

Commentaires : Our bookkeeper introduced us to Perfect Venue when our business was first changing from a brick and mortar restaurant to solely catering. This catering software has been incredible for us - keeping everything in a centralised location - and able to pull up notes, documents, etc. from past events for reference.

Avantages :

There are regular updates to the platform, striving to make lives easier for the users.. When we give feedback, it goes directly to a person, rather than a bot, and we receive responses from a person! We feel that client feedback is listened to and taken into consideration for future updates.

Inconvénients :

We have made several errors regarding fees - usually attributed to new menu items that are saved incorrectly by user error. It's certainly cost us some money, but we're aware of this issue and are more vigilant.

A Must Have Booking Tool for Restaurant Group Dining Events.

Commentaires : I am using perfect venue for the last 4 years and I cannot complaint about. It is a solid tool helps to speed up the bookings.

Avantages :

The interface is really intuitive and easy to navigate. The automated email and template are really cool. Also the AI tool helps.

Inconvénients :

In the mobile version, I cannot sort the events as I do in the desktop version. Also, sometimes response to leads might go in spam. A text messaging tool would be great.

Perfect Venue - The Perfect Event Management System!

Commentaires : I work out of the software all day and Perefect Venue helps me so much with managing all my events. It helps me stay organized and I like that there are multiple features such as the BEO, the proposals and menus, the task section, etc. I really like the simplicity of PV and how it's user friendly. The customer/tech support is also very helpful! Whenever I feel like there's something I had a question on or have any bugs with the system, they are very efficient at resolving and helping me with everything. Lastly, I love that PV is always evolving and receptive to users' input and ideas for features. For example, the new PV app is extremely a plus!!

Avantages :

I really like the proposal section as it makes payment a breeze for guests.

Inconvénients :

I don't like that I can't use "Ctrl Z" to undo something in the email thread text boxes. Sometimes I accidentally delete something and then I can't undo it. It would be great if that could be added!

Commentaires : Love the streamlined and user-friendly setup! The efficiency of sharing proposal and payment links is huge!

Avantages :

Realtime shared proposals with customers with a live link that automatically updates and can be emailed without downloading or uploading documents.

Inconvénients :

Customer account management for accounts with multiple bookings and contacts within a company. It would be helpful to have manage accounts in a more address book style fashion rather than by the event contacts only. Be able to sort reports by customer account.

Commentaires : Overall you can't beat the price for what you get. The other systems that I was considering were $100+ more monthly, and weren't perfect either. This system had more pros then cons, and enough customizable areas that allowed me flexibility. Would recommend as it is easy to use, cost effective, easy to train, and more than basic.

Avantages :

1. Affordable 2. Syncs to google calendar 3. Send proposals, client can sign & pay deposit at the same time. 4. Has ability to allow ACH 5. Customizable forms 6. Company is fantastic about adding new features that users can request. If enough users vote on it, a lot of the features are implemented. 7. Customer service gets back to you in less than an hr. Usually in the first 20 minutes, and super friendly.

Inconvénients :

1. Wish PV ACH could be similar to Stripe system that created a unique bank acct # for each customer. Customers can only pay via ACH if they log into their bank account via PV. I currently go into Stripe, create a new customer, create an idential invoice, which gives me a bank account. I then forward to client & they do a wire that way. 2. Menu update & menu setting is terrible & hard to read, as it puts the menu name in a small 2 inch width column so it's half a page long sometimes. There is no way to pull a report to see what menu items you have to check what you have. I found a couple duplicate menu items, which were missed bc I didn't see them. 3. Wish they were integrated with gmail. Right now, PV emails come into my gmail with a random PV email, so if the client replies outside of the chain or their subject line is different, it does not show up in the PV inbox. You will need to monitor your original email box to make sure nothing gets missed.

Perfect Venue is the best!

Commentaires : I really enjoyed using Perfect Venue and I will certainly recommend PV at my next position.

Avantages :

I liked the ease of use, set up, and support. The BEOs, Invoices, Proposals were easy to develop. I really liked being able to have all of my menu options available so that creating a proposal was fast and easy. The calendar was also a great feature. Being able to view reports from anywhere and at any time was a great tool as well.

Inconvénients :

I really have no complaints. The customer support team was very knowledgeable. Again, I have no complaints.

Workflow changed forever...for the better

Commentaires : It has changed my work/life balance in an amazing way. I'd been cobbling together a ton of different systems for over 13 years running my business. Been using PerfectVenue since July 2023 -- I'm more efficient with sales and managing events. I love it. I can do everything I need to do from my phone.

Avantages :

Perfect Venue eliminates about 75% of the non-automated steps that I previously went through when booking an event.

Inconvénients :

There are moments when it's a little glitchy, and have had a couple of times when necessary features glitched/stopped working -- very importantly, the support team has acted responsively and fast every time. Crises averted!

Avantages :

I love the ease of use and ability to make quick changes. These quick changes are easily dispersed through our staff in real time, which makes for simple communication.

PERFECT VENUE is Just PERFECT!!!

Commentaires : Overall, we have been INCREDIBLY pleased with PERFECT VENUE! It has been relatively easy-to-use and intuitive. We had NO formal means of retaining client info before PV and are THANKFUL to have found SUCH a comprehensive platform to house ALL of our Catering needs -- THANKS FOR EVERYTHING PERFECT VENUE!!!

Avantages :

PERFECT VENUE (PV) has been an absolute GODSEND! We are a small, family-owned restaurant where we ALL wear a gozillion hats, so PV streamlines our Catering side BIGTIME! And while we probably haven't even BEGUN to tap into ALL the features of PV, what we DO appreciate the most is having ALL our client info -- past and present -- available in ONE accessible place. It makes communication SO much easier for those of us who may be working on the same account/event. Thanks PV for making our jobs a BREEZE!!!

Inconvénients :

Originally, the email features were rather limited admittedly. But NOW...there is more FLEXIBILITY with the options which is what we were hoping for.

Avantages :

The ease of booking events is great! We are saving time tracking leads from our website. It allows our group sales team easy access to all info!

Inconvénients :

The layout of the BEO is clunky and could be organized better to be easier to read and fit better on the page.

Happy with perfect venue

Commentaires : Overall good! I've enjoyed the ability to send proposals and emails from within the system.

Avantages :

It helps keep me organized and is easy to use

Inconvénients :

I wish there was more customization with the "personalize" option on emails. I insert a lot of links and it would be great if I could customize my own links like the "view proposal" link is. I'd also love to be able to cc people on perfect venue emails again.
