Avantages :

Très bon de part capacité à localiser et très facile à manipuler

Inconvénients :

Il faut toujours là connexion internet, il serait un peu difficile d'utiliser dans les zones non couvert par le réseau.

Un super outil de visualisation cartographique

Commentaires : Très bon outil globalement dont je me sers régulièrement.

Avantages :

La clarté et la quantité d'information carto. La possibilité de profiter de différentes vues et de mettre en relief ses propres données.

Inconvénients :

L'ajout de photos et leur visualisation, à partir de coordonnées GPS, n'est pas forcément aisée.

Très bon logiciel d'exploitation géographique

Avantages :

La mise à jour des données géographiques, la qualité des calques et la pluralité des calques.

Inconvénients :

L'exportation des données de localisation et d'altitude sont inexistants. C'est bien dommage !

Commentaires : A great application that you can see how things were and now with lots of photos, locations where you can visit while you are sitting at home. It works both on mobile and on your desktop. Its great.

Avantages :

A wonderful application that can take you to any area in the world in seconds, its updated regularly, Colors and photos taken are wonderful. You can go to certain areas and walk in the streets as if you are there.

Inconvénients :

There is a lot of improvement that can take place maybe for the future in relation to having clearer pictures when you go deeper to the location, Maybe few live locations where the satellite is, They might add sounds, others.

Commentaires : A waste of time and something that I will never get back. Ensure that support menus match the instructions.

Avantages :

Up to date aerial imagery and added Google Streetview make it simple to check job sites and their associated features for planning or QC purposes. Historical imagery available to view. Easy to create simple KML or KMZ files to share.

Inconvénients :

Unable to convert or display other mapping file types in Google Earth without using a secondary program to convert.

Google Earth Pro User Friendly and Time Saver

Commentaires : Using this program was an overall good experience and I will continue to use in the future.

Avantages :

I liked the ability to upload gpx files retrieved from the field and also the ability to take data from Google Earth Pro and convert to a gpx file to be taken into the field with the crews. The measurement tools are a time saver and benefit my day-to-day work.

Inconvénients :

The inability to upload zip folders and have to unzip and transfer files to new folder in order to upload into Google Earth Pro. The program lacks beneficial layers such as legal land descriptions.

A Free professional tool for cartographs and geography enthusiasts

Commentaires : As a geography enthusiast, I use Google Earth Pro quite often. Usually I use it for neighborhood explorations and discovering new places.

Avantages :

Of course, Google Earth Pro has all the functionalities that are available in Google Maps and Google Earth Web, however on this version we have some useful functions including various layers, multiple pinpoints, 3D effects, etc..One of the most exiting things of this app is that you can observe not only the Earth, but also other objects in the Space. Currently, you can choose among Earth, Sky, Moon, and Mars. Hopefully, new planets will be available in the future.

Inconvénients :

As for cons, I haven't experience any problems with Google Earth Pro. The only weak part of Google Maps in general is that it's not as precise or detailed as open-source maps.

Customized Mapping in your hands

Avantages :

The tool is super useful for the Geographical Information system of your custom locations. The 3D flying system to view buildings is very awesome. The chrome version is ready to go with GIS mappings. You can export and import your positions at custom coordinates with ease.

Inconvénients :

The software is very laggy and slow. The desktop version is graphic processing hungry. The UX needs an overhaul. UI is not changed for a while. Importing and exporting sometimes cause issues

Best online app for 3d study of earth

Avantages :

I have been using this since 2007. This is a great product it has helped analyze the 3d structure of the earth along with various physiological aspects such as rivers, mountains, oceans, islands, deltas, estuaries, bays, gulfs as well as countries. Google Earth has always intrigued me with how my local area looks from above. It even has various features in which you can see a particular timeline of areas.

Inconvénients :

Some areas are blurred which makes it difficult to analyze. IT would be great if all areas could be shown without blurring. A

Easy to navigate, high resolution graphics, helpful in locating nice places, lots of options to view places, ability to measure properties and distance of other places.

So far so good, nothing negative. This app is really useful.

Commentaires : I am a flight simulation scenery designer and use it to create airports not included in the simulator or that are inaccurate.

Commentaires : Este software personalmente lo he usado muchas veces, cuando quiero conocer algun terreno donde se va a construir algo, que puede ser por ejemplo una planta o fabrica que se encuentra a las afueras de alguna ciudad donde google maps y su street view no tienen datos, con google earth puedes ir casi a donde sea en la tierra encontrar el punto exacto, y conocerlo de forma remota para tomar desiciones sobre el.

Avantages :

Que es muy fácil de manejar en todas sus funciones básicas, aunque cuenta con otras mucho mas complejas, pero solo las utilizarían personas que su trabajo dependa de esta herramienta.

Inconvénients :

Realmente no tengo puntos en contra del software, anteriormente lo que no me gustaba era que tenias que instalar en tu computadora el programa para hacer consultas de mapas, pero ahora con la versión en web eso se ha solucionado.

Me parece muy interesante que se pueda ver cualquier localización por coordenadas GPS o simplemente buscando el sitio con el mouse.

Inconvénients :

Opciones como medir distancias y tamaños no son muy intuitivas en comparación con otros software.

Fácil de utilizar en general. La capacidad de visualizar fotos históricas del mapa es una adición excelente para observar cambios y alteraciones en distintos momentos del año. La herramienta de medición de superficies y dibujo de figuras sobre el mapa es sumamente útil.

Inconvénients :

La creación y edición sobre el mapa es muy limitada, podría incluir más herramientas y posibilidades de edición de las figuras. La exportación e importación de datos también es sumamente básica y limitada haciéndola poco compatible con otras herramientas.

What we like about this application is not only easy to use but is very accurate map compare to other map applications. I like the features that you can zoom in to the point where you can see the people on the streets. :-)
