A Must Have for Wholesalers

Commentaires : Candid is a SaaS platform that simplifies wholesale transactions between wholesalers and retailers. It transforms the traditional static process of using PDF e books, attachments, communication messages, and invoices into a characterized catalog. Candid's software makes it easier for wholesaler and retailers to collaborate on purchase orders.

Avantages :

After using the software I got hook on creating orders. I like that you can customize the order number. This help to keep all orders organized.

Inconvénients :

Although all orders will have same information, they should allow users to choose order template styles.

Great tool, but confusing at times

Commentaires : We like using the tool overall. It makes our wholesale business look professional, and saves time. I wish the interface was a little simpler or maybe more user-tested. But, it's working for us right now. We'll stick with it as long as our customers are happy placing orders there.

Avantages :

We can quickly process all the steps of a wholesale order in this tool, which saves valuable time. Our customers seem to be able to place orders pretty easily, although some have complained that the interface is too confusing. For some, it's fine; for others, lots of friction.

Inconvénients :

The interface updates are occasionally bewildering. Last week, I spent a huge amount of time trying to do a basic function (activate an item from our Shopify catalog), and it used to be simple... but then it wasn't. Huge time suck.

Fast, exact and unique

Commentaires : Excellent and fluent, trustworthy and kind.

Avantages :

Fast and friendly communication, swift packing and posting, and everything was as ordered. Also wonderful, that they sells unique products, made by local artists and micro companies.

Inconvénients :

(We ordered to Europe, so everything has to go via customs and hence is slower and costs more but of course Candid is not to blame for this :-) )

Great starter software, but could use a little work in the details

Commentaires : Since it is a small team, you are normally dealing with the same couple of customer support team members, which I really value.

Avantages :

Integration and setup was super easy and straightforward. Order management is mostly user friendly.

Inconvénients :

The biggest bummers for our small business have been lack of customization when it comes to out of stock inventory, which has led to some overselling issues. As well as lack of basic reporting.

Candid Review after using for ~2years

Commentaires : The customer support is AMAZING with Candid. Once I set up my store, it has been easy to update/maintain. I like the improvements Candid has made with the interface since I started. Always moving in the right direction!

Avantages :

I like the net30 terms and secure credit card processing. I like how my wholesale customers have to select the items they are purchasing from a "storefront" rather than email me with vague orders. They get to "see" exactly what they are ordering just like on any website.

Inconvénients :

I have had to do a lot of handholding to get my customers to understand how to order on this platform and how to pay on this platform. I was *hoping* the switch from Quickbooks invoicing/payments to Candid invoicing/payments would be seamless, but unfortunately it has not been as straightforward as I had hoped. I also like the fact that I could host on my own website, but when I explored that option I felt it was really pricey and so I have stayed with the hosting on Candid.

Candid is a delight!

Commentaires : Candid is great software made by great folks who really understand what their users need. Excellent customer service, and a a delight to use!

Avantages :

Excellent wholesale ordering, order management and invoicing software. Intuitive and easy to use, makes communication and order editing between brands and buyers super easy and clear. Integration with my e-commerce site makes updating product catalog pretty much automatic.

Inconvénients :

Occasionally I have issues with product prices not importing correctly from my shopify site.

It is very user friendly. Love everything about this website, it has helped out business out a lot. The customer service and dev team. Everyone I have met has offered tremendous help, and is very kind to us. 10/10 quality

Inconvénients :

You know we have had a tremendous experience when a Con does not stand out to us.

Easy to set up & top notch customer support

Commentaires : Candid is going to help us scale our wholesale business. Our ordering process used to be very manual, but with Candid, it has become more streamlined. It was an adjustment for our clients, but they all love the fact that they can see all their past orders & invoices all in one spot.

Avantages :

We love the Zapier integration for order management. The catalog was very easy to set-up & manage. Also, they have THE BEST customer support team out there. We are a wholesale bakery that delivers locally in Chicago so we do not ship any of our products. When we first starting setting up Candid, a lot of communication was geared towards shipping. Working with the Candid team, they created a feature that allowed us toggle on/off for shipping or delivery.

Inconvénients :

I think it would be nice to be able to to customize our automated emails during the order process.

There’s a lot of information to access

Avantages :

I like the wealth of information available to access on the spot form. I find it very useful to have it all in one place.

Inconvénients :

I struggled with the search function in the beginning but I got that straightened out pretty quickly. I don’t have any complaints.

Better than the other options!

Avantages :

Candid is my personal favorite wholesale management platform (both as a retailer and a brand) because it categorically simplifies and supports the REAL process of transacting a wholesale relationship.

Inconvénients :

I can't think of any issues I have had.

Helpful tool

Avantages :

We use Candid to share about our non-profit and research foundations and grant opportunities.

Inconvénients :

Completing the profile is helpful but can be time-consuming.
