An Everyday Companion for Note Taking and More

5,0 l’année dernière

Commentaires : Google Keep helps me to stay organized with lists, especially to-do lists. This is essential for the way that I run my business. I take down everything that needs to be done in google keep, utilize the checkbox features which allows you to slide items up and down in order in a list. That allows me to prioritize the items on my list. After prioritizing my list, I can schedule each item as an appointment in my google calendar.

Avantages :

What I like most about Google Keep is its ease of use. When using Keep it is very easy to catch onto how to use it. The UI puts everything front and center, making it easy to find the most used features in every scenario. I also love that Keep is available anywhere I have an internet connection. The app is on my phone, my iPad and my laptop.

Inconvénients :

What I like least about Google Keep is that it does not file notes into folders. Generally, folders can help create a cleaner UI , where as having every note show up on the main screen of the app can feel cluttered and overwhelming at times.

One of the better note management platforms

5,0 il y a 5 mois

Commentaires : I have used Google Keep along with the rest of Google's suite of programs for several years now, and have always been impressed with their applications. I just happen to love Microsoft OneNote more, and tend to favor that application for note curation.

Avantages :

My favorite thing about Google Keep is the ease with which new users can learn to use the platform proficiently. It's a very user-friendly application.

Inconvénients :

My least favorite thing about the software is that it's not Microsoft OneNote, therefore it doesn't integrate with OneDrive. Other than that simple problem, it's an excellent app.

What a strange little product--but I use it every day

3,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : Keep really doesn't know what it wants to be -- a to do list, a stick notes app, or a web clipper to compete with Evernote, or what? All I know is that it's pervasive across all my devices and installed on my Pixel phones, so it's super handy and the default when I need to get something out of my head, so despite all these short-comings, I still use it and will "keep" using it (haha, sorry for the pun).

Avantages :

Keep is dead simple. Write a note, maybe make it a list or add a picture. No learning curve, no saving, no files or folders. You can add colors or labels if you like, but what I love most is the powerful search built in that instantly brings up one of my hundreds of notes, even archived ones. I do use the colors as well with a pretty deep system of categories, but I ran out of colors for new categories a long time ago because of the limited number of choices.

Inconvénients :

Keep drives me crazy. New features are very rare. You can't even do rich text formatting! Lists are totally inflexible other than simple indentation for a pseudo subtask motif.

Your digital notepad that integrates with the Google Suite - so everything is all in one

5,0 il y a 5 mois

Commentaires : It's been good. The fact that it syncs with your Google account is good because you can retrieve it from anywhere once logged in. It has a nice UI but it definitely has some work in terms of managing the notes.

Avantages :

I like the fact that it has a nice interface. It's customisable too for different colours and it looks like little blocks on your dashboard.

Inconvénients :

I think there's needs to be some sort of structural feature introduced. At the moment, all the blocks are scattered everywhere and looks a little messy. It needs some folder or structural feature to organise the notes.

Google keep is perfect for taking notes not the best for task management

5,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : I'm a very big Google fan and love their ecosystem that includes Google keep. I will continue to use Google keep for all my note needs and can't wait to see what else Google can come up with

Avantages :

Google keep is one of those pieces of software that you cannot live without if you are part of the Google ecosystem. It is integrated with all the other applications they offer and that makes everything so seamless

Inconvénients :

It's hard to really give this thing a con because it says right in the name Google notes it's created for taking notes and it does that perfectly. No matter where you take your note if you're connected to your Google account you'll be able to access that from anywhere. It's not the best when it comes to task management or project management but again that's not what the app is designed for

My everyday notekeeper

5,0 le mois dernier Nouveau

Avantages :

I can use it from anywhere and anyhow. Since it's connected to cloud, I can use it from any device and any place. We can add notes and check it whenever we want. I preferably use keep to write what I think or some ideas that spark in my mind that has to be written then and there or else I would forget about it later.

Inconvénients :

Nothing. I like how keep works and it's easy to use. There might be some new cool features can be added in future like ai bot or grammar and typo error checker.

Overall Good Application for Software Developers for their daily works, instead of using third unknown tool it can be used as it is Google's product

4,0 il y a 2 mois Nouveau

Avantages :

This tool is very handy to use, just one click and you are good to go. The share functionality of the notes to the teammate is very good. Keep name is very suitable for this tool, keep your notes here and can be access everywhere with proper authorisation and in any devices. And since every where we are rely on google and it is the product of google we can trust this software.

Inconvénients :

A Desktop app should be present for this. It can be integrated with other platform, and audio functionality should be present in upcoming updates.

A fairly realiable system for taking notes and storing them over a long period of time..

4,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : I must admit that our general experience has been positive despite the negative things that I have mentioned previously, there are still things to improve within Google Keep as what I mentioned previously, the design of the notes has to be improved, so that the notes have a much more attractive and more colorful background, in addition, the transfer system of these notes has to be improved to facilitate sending them to specific people. Our general expxerience has been positive because day by day this platform helps us to takes notes within the company, we can write anythin in these notes and store them for later, in addition, we can add reminders to these notes to access them in an hour or specific date. I'm pleased with the general functionality of Google Keep, it is a fairly easy software to use and it connects immediately with my Google account, so there is no need to create any additional account in order to use the software.

Avantages :

The first thing that I like about Google Keep is that it allows me to make a much more complete note-taking, because this application allows me to insert images or videos in the note that I'm making at a specific moment, this helps the note be much more complete. Another thing that I like about Google Keep is that all the notes are stored in the Google cloud no matter how long it takes, for example, I can create a note and leave it there even more that five years, in the same way I will have access to that note wth all the information that was previously written, this is amazing since I can store information for a long time. I should also mention that I love the feature of adding tags to notes, because these tags help me find specific notes, I can add custom tags and it makes it so much easier for me to find notes for a specific topic.

Inconvénients :

The first thing I don't like about Google Keep is that in order to transfer one onf the previously described notes, you must transfer this note to Google documents, this way you can transfer a shared link to another person, it is not possible to transfer this note directly from the Google Keep app, and this is really annoying. Another thing that I do not like about this platform is that it is not possible to add a personalized design to the notes that you have written, you can only add a black backgroung or a white background to the notes, it is not possible to add your own design or a much more attractive design to the notes.

Google keep keeps everything noted in its google ecosystem

5,0 l’année dernière

Avantages :

The best part of it is it's very handy. You can easily make a copy and share your note. You have limited but colorful templates to give your notes a specific identity. It also has reminder and pin features. One can easily pin any important message. Uploading or clicking the image with your text is also a good characteristic. I love its recording feature. When I don't have time to write, I simply record it.

Inconvénients :

I want more colors and different formatting features and can group multiple notes under one heading.

Keep changed the way I use Post-its

5,0 il y a 2 ans

Commentaires : I'm very pleased with my time with Google Keep. It's good for quick, short notes or lengthy reminders. It's useful for jotting down notes with images. It even allows you to grab the text from those images. You can use it everywhere too (browser, app, Gmail).

Avantages :

Keep is best used for making short notes. Think of it as virtual Post-its. It's completely changed how I take notes. I put quotes in there for writing ideas. I post links to courses and references. I write meeting bullet points and agendas. One of the more useful features is you can include photos in your notes. On top of that, you can grab the image text. I found this very useful for capturing text from business cards. I also use the grab text feature to capture non-English characters, copy those and plug the phrases into Google Translate. Useful for translating names and places. Lastly, it's got Post-its beat because everything is searchable. Forgot the title? Pick a key word from what you remember and use search.

Inconvénients :

I had some syncing issues in the past where it refused to sync with one device. It was solved when I upgraded to a different phone. But, I didn't really find out what was going on there.

Avantages :

I'll Be Keeping Google Keep!

5,0 l’année dernière

Commentaires : Google Keep has replaced other methods of note keeping for myself and my team. Overall, my experience with the program has been great and I have received similar feedback from other users.

Avantages :

Google Keep is very user friendly and easy to get familiar with using. Being able to easily integrate with other Google platforms is beneficial and there are some features such as, check lists, labels, and the ability to add collaboratiors that enhance the user experience and capabilities.

Inconvénients :

The only thing I feel would result in drastic improvement of Google Keep is if there were more features and customizations. Added color/background options, fonts, and dashboard structure options along with the ability to have both check lists and plain text within one note would be great additions.

Commentaires : Ease of use keeps me coming back over and over again. The ability to check my notes, add to an existing note or create a new one from my laptop or phone basically anywhere is worth my time. I would like to see more features included.

Avantages :

-Easy to use-syncs with your google account-has colour coding and pinned notes-can be used on Desktop and Mobile view-can attach a photo or drawing to it-phone screen widget

Inconvénients :

-lacking in features to personalize the notes-limited ability for attachments to notes

best free note taking and reminder app for personal use

5,0 l’année dernière

Avantages :

I have been using Google Keep for a few years now and it is still the best app available right now. It's saved me so much time and it's become such a crucial part of my life. It not only helps me take notes, but also reminds me of important tasks to complete. It also syncs across all my devices which is great. It's my go-to note taking app and I always recommend it to all my friends who want an easy way to keep track of personal tasks.

Inconvénients :

The collaboration options can be improved.
