Brilliant and so refreshing after being stuck with old on-premise legacy software and no-where to go.
The team at Iplicit could not be more friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble.
Avantages :
It is so refreshing to see a completely product in this crowded space that is head and shoulders above the rest. It is evident that a huge amount of thought has gone into the design, making use intutive and benefitting from curent best practice
Inconvénients :
Very little to be honest. The software is still developing at a pace, so most of the "nice to haves" have eiether arrived or are on the roadmap

Commentaires : We were relatively early users of the system & after previous experiences of no-one listening to what we were saying in the support department it was rewarding to finally know we were talking to experienced people who understood our queries. This remains the same today as it was when we started. We do feel we have the whole package ... excellent software, excellent service & a system that will stay abreast with technology and legal requirements.
Avantages :
Cloud based as a major factor, it did seem a bit of a leap of faith in the first instance after always having on premises software but two years down the line it already seems very backdated to have it on site with all the issues that go with networks, servers, back-ups etc. As a complete non-techy person these were all things I am happy that are no longer relevant. The flexibility to use the system, you can jump & drill down all over the place that as well as the features makes anything in the past seem really clunky.
Inconvénients :
To be honest there is nothing I can think I don't like. I am looking forward to the inventory being available so we can move ahead with having everything in one place.
Such an improvement!
Commentaires : Very good. Training and set up was excellent and thorough. Ongoing support for post-go-live changes has been very good. We have had issues with the migration of transactions and opening balances from our previous system, however this was linked to our old system rather than iplicit.
Avantages :
The ease with which reports and MI can be exported from the system. The drill down facility to link different areas of the system. The self service model available for budget holders to view their income and expenditure directly. The bank reconciliation process which enables quick, easy input of cash transactions. Very thorough training before the go-live date
Inconvénients :
The list of access/security settings for users is endless which makes it difficult to know what access is being given. Similarly, reports and enquiries aren't always named intuitively so it can be difficult to find what you need.

Iplicit is so easy to use
Commentaires : It has been a great experience - the implementation was well supported and the go live was less stressful than anticipated. We went more or less paperless overnight!
Avantages :
Iplicit is so intuitive and easy to use. The Finance team have really taken to it and are enjoying using it. It is so easy to import data from other systems we use. We have just had our interim audit and the auditors commented on how easy it was for them to interrogate the transactions and review the "paperwork." If you have a problem the support team is very quick at getting back to you to resolve the issue.
Inconvénients :
As it is a newish system we do have to ask for new reports or ways of doing things, but the Support team are so quick at getting back to you with a solution it is really not an issue.We made a good decision when we chose Iplicit!

Commentaires : Training and implementation in nearly all areas has been thorough and easy to transition to. The product clearly has got the area of expertise (the accountants) in the same room as the IT teams. In many products this synergy isn't always evident in the ergonomics of the system.
Avantages :
The customisation options with an in depth training and setup period has enabled clean implementation into the busiest part of our year.
Inconvénients :
The Sandbox can have a conflict when more than one ticket is being worked on at once. For example one area will reset the sandbox to try and fix their issue and in the process will wipe the work of another areas testing. It seems that there needs to be some way to lock an area from being wiped in the sandbox so that multiple issues can be worked on at once.
Iplicit has been a game changer
Avantages :
The simple user interface combined with intuitive solutions have allowed implementation and going live to be a seamless exercise.Our decisions to move from Sage was driven by the need for a true cloud solution. Within the first 30 minutes of seeing the product, we knew it would cover all our basic needs along with solving long lasting pains such as multi-entity accounting.The implementation of Iplicit has reduced cost, improved operational efficiency (in some cases, saving days) and allowed for better decision making due to the multi-dimensional reporting capabilities.
Inconvénients :
As its early in our adoption, its hard to point a finger at any issues with the system.I Hope it stays that way!

1.5 years of Iplcit experience
Commentaires : Excellent. Really happy we went with this package.
Avantages :
The management information, the easy access to audit trails, the currency management, the ease to automate to so all the right information is instantly available, after service support, tailoring to our needs.
Inconvénients :
Not much. It can do everything we want. And it can be adapted to anything we need.
Great Cloud based accounts package
Commentaires : We needed a cloud based accounts package that worked for a not for profit membership organisation with partial tax complications. The whole set up process was very smooth and the system works well for our needs.
Avantages :
We moved easily from Exchequer to Iplicit whilst working from home during Covid lockdowns. We was very well supported during the build and launch of our product. We get very quick responses from customer support when I forget how to do something! Our auditors find it easy to navigate and love the fact we can attach files, emails etc to all transactions for easy referencing. Online authorisations for workflows means less printed paper and quicker approvals.
Inconvénients :
Not easy to bulk print sales invoices, we do still send out paper copies but set up is aimed at emails.
Iplicit for not for profit organisations
Commentaires : Our grant management is far more thorough and transparent now we are using iplicit.
Avantages :
It has really helped with our grant management and cost tracking against individual projects and grant. I love the drill down capability and how all relevant documents can be attached to transactions in iplicit. I really like the online expenses which has been well received by all staff. Having the app, taking a photo of the receipts and submitting a claim for authorisation and paying couldn't be easier now, especially as all the hard work on coding of expense products was done in the set up.
Inconvénients :
The set up to get it working in the right way for our organisation has been a lot of hard work but if you put the work in at the outset, it does mean the outputs are better when using the system. Iplicit support are always ready to help and very responsive with any problems.

Best Decision!
Commentaires : The thought of going through the implementation process filled me with dread but it was actually a dream! I had lots of support from Iplicit, who really guided me through the process. I haven't looked back since we started using Iplicit, it has really changed our working life - making previously painful processes so much easier.
Avantages :
The system is so easy to use, even for non-finance users. It also really is an end to end solution for us, and it's really easy to track transactions through the system. The pricing is also very clear and inclusive - there are no extra hidden charges for things.
Inconvénients :
I honestly can't think of any. There are still things we would like to be developed within the system but they are on their roadmap and our wish list regularly gets ticked off by updates they release
Iplicit review
Commentaires : The team at Iplicit are honest, passionate and great to work with. Once the quick implementation was completed we got our stunning, easy to use program that we'd spent a few years trying to find.
Avantages :
It's packed full of features that make bookkeeping, account preparation and reporting an enjoyable breeze. A key requirement for us was integration, Iplicit has a comprehensive tech spec with many integration options and the API links seamlessly with our in-house developed software.
Inconvénients :
The budget/forecasting needs further development to simplify, this is on their development roadmap. In the end we used their excel link to achieve this.
Still loving Iplicit after nearly 2 Years!
Avantages :
Firstly iplicit is easy to use and you have have it set up to suit how you work. For us, the move to a "work from anywhere" system like iplicit has been important - especially as this happened just before lockdown 2020. Iplicit are constantly developing the product, so you feel like you're able to enjoy the innovation as it happens. The team are great and customer support are so helpful. We'd used our previous system for nearly 20 years, so the slightly different ways of working seemed daunting at first, but the implementaton/training team helped us with this. I now like the ways of working and enjoy the way I can easily choose what I see and what I can report.
Inconvénients :
We've had issues with excel integration but this is more to do with the version of Office on our institution's machines. With 365, it works great!
Positive Change

The support team are so easy to deal with, always available to help if any problems arise & no question is too big or small. They feel like an extended part of the company.
If we have requested something which is not already available, it is great to know, it is on the up and coming list from Iplicit.
Avantages :
The ease of use from the moment it went live in Jan-20 was effortless. The ease of migration was fantastic. The links to new developments and changes which are made on Iplicit are readily available for the team to learn. Information is shared and easily accessible. Real time reporting is a fantastic business tool for our sales team & Financial reporting is just a click away from Excel, its brilliant.
Inconvénients :
With no reflection on Iplicit, it is other desktop software that find it challenging to keep up the seamless updates which are running in the background.

Commentaires : Well managed implementation with great interaction and support from the team. It's making a big difference to the way we work now and we have more scope to improve further.
Avantages :
The ease of navigation and being able to have several screens open at once to move between. The views of P&L's, Balance Sheet etc. that are so easy to access and extract information from.
Inconvénients :
I found configuring the approval workflows a bit tricky but that could just be me.

Commentaires : Can't fault Iplicit, on the whole a great product that I would highly recommend
Avantages :
Its ease of use, a massive help with time saving through automation. Great customer service and quick problem solvers through a great helpdesk.
Inconvénients :
The only minor con is as a relatively new product there are areas to be developed but the continual progression has been speedy and without any detriment to the core product.
New User in the last few months
Commentaires : Very good in general, the support team are great and [sensitive content hidden] who managed and trained us was aboslutely amazing.
Avantages :
the ease of use, the functionality that automates things to save time and human error is a god send!
Inconvénients :
the formulae to use to get information out into excel for real time data is complex.

A breath of fresh air...
Commentaires : Early days but we seem to be happy with hat we have seen so far. The more we use it the more we understand and the more competent we become. The staff at Iplicit have been very supportive.
Avantages :
Our previous software was some 20 years old and had not kept pace with changes. Iplicit seem to offer an open platform which can be customised to meet nearly all of our requirements and wishes. Training, albeit distance, has been good and the Company have taken away all queries with a review to resolving and questions and queries.
Inconvénients :
Just getting to know the background in order to set up and transfer into the new system. Again Iplicit staff have been very helpful in doing this.
Iplicit 9 months in.
Commentaires : Took a while to get going, as any change in accounting software would, but the team are very happy with it.
Avantages :
Accounting Software that's enjoyable to use! The support team are very friendly and have become valued partners, they understand our business and can add things to the software if needed.
Inconvénients :
Importing journals from Excel could be a bit more easier/slicker
Time for a change

It has been an extremely busy 6 months since we decide to change, but we definitely made the right decision.
I feel that Iplicit are our partners whereas with other software providers it is just a case of what money they can make from you.
Avantages :
Great pricing - no hidden extras. The Apps for mobile devices for timesheets and expenses, included as standard, have been great for our remote workers Flexible product - we have been able to expand our reporting capabilities. The ability to make posting corrections has been invaluable. Fantastic implementation team - they really took time to talk to us about what we wanted and have helped to configure the system for our requirements. Along with the wider support team they are still doing this.
Inconvénients :
We have a complex set up and there was a lot of work to get the configuration correct and get to grips with all the new terminology, but the Iplicit team were there to support us all the way.
The next step from Xero
Avantages :
handles more complex items than Xero such as consolidation.
Inconvénients :
Lots to learn, a lot of customisation which takes a while to set up.
Great finance system, great support
Commentaires : Very smooth implementation and ALL team members love it. Support is timely and very good.
Avantages :
Love management accounts within system, that allow drill down to invoice with review. Love pivot table analogy enabling management report to be shown with different dimensions.
Inconvénients :
Would love to be able to adapt reports ourselves to deal with minor changes rather than needing development
Great system, easy to use
Avantages :
Love the simplicity of Iplicit - it is accessible for everyone in our company and tailored access allows users to get the most of out what they need from their system. The Support team are always on hand to integrate additional reports for us.
Inconvénients :
Integration took a while but we got there in the end - the support team are there to help us with any tweaks or flaws we discover as we get used to using this system.

One additional feature to be desired is when posting a revaluation of bank accounts of non functional currency into functional currency, for the revaluation entry to be reflected only in that non functional currency and the document currency should be zero, to avoid distorted figures in non functional currency.
