Adobe Lightroom, retouchez vos photos de manière professionnelle

Avantages :

Le logiciel sur ordinateur est facile à prendre en main. Il y a pleins de fonctionnalités poussées et performantes utiles pour les professionnels, mais il y a aussi des options de suggestions et de correction automatique, très utile pour les débutants. Lightroom est parfaitement intégré à la suite Adobe. On peut modifier nos contenus dans Lightroom et les exploiter dans Photoshop par exemple.

Inconvénients :

La version application mobile de ce logiciel est moins ergonomique que la version ordinateur. Les fonctionnalités sont moins poussées. C'est plus pour réaliser du travail d'appoint, moins précis. L'application fait parfois surchauffer les ordinateurs les moins performants.

c'est un logociel complet et parfait pour la correction des photos il donne un aspect professionnel a vos photos surtout si vous utiliser RAW format

Inconvénients :

c'est un logiciel payant et surtout qu'il est par abonnement mensuelle pour moi c'est le grand defaut et qu'il n'existe pas une version lifetime

Le logiciel a avoir pour la retouche photo !

Avantages :

Adobe Lightroom est le logiciel de retouche photo parfait d'après moi. Il est très simple d'utilisation, de nombreux tutos explicatifs sont disponibles ! Ca prise en main est très simple et je ne peux désormais plus m'en passer.

Inconvénients :

Je n'ai pas rencontré d'inconvénients avec Adobe Lightroom !

il faut un Pc performant +/- Windows 10 disposant de 4 Go de RAM, Mac OS X 10.13 ou version ultérieure, Android 5.0 ou supérieur et ios 12.3 ou supérieur. par contre si j'ai un Pc avec beaucoup moins de capacité se pas évident

Avantages :

On pourrait croire qu’il ne s’agit que de lumière, non loin de là. C’est vraiment un logiciel de modification de photo efficace et super pratique.

Inconvénients :

Par contre c’est un peu compliqué à maîtriser du premier coup.

Long time Lightroom user (going on 10-years) -- it's a must have for any professional photographer

Commentaires : I have been a long-time user of Adobe Products and you simply cannot use anything else if you're looking for professional editing software. I pay for the premium monthly pack of the entire adobe suite, all the software plays nice with each other integrating useful features between them all. I love the libraries in PS for editing on repeat clients with tools and styles.

Avantages :

I love that Adobe does useful updates when they update the software. I do love many features about lightroom, speeding up my workflow, consistent batch edits and once you learn the ropes, it's a breeze to use.

Inconvénients :

LR just did a major overhaul to their masking and it has been a major upgrade to the previous masking tools. So far I absolutely love it and it is already saving me so many previous headaches in time with masking objects/subjects. I wish they would work on their heal too, it is clunky, slow, and should work more like content-aware in PS, but I'm sure it will eventually get there. :) Nothing that would keep me from using the software.

Lightroom for that Professional Graphic Edits!

Commentaires : When it comes to purely graphic editing, using Lightroom is much easier than using Photoshop, for the latter is most appropriate in graphic manipulation.

Avantages :

What makes me grow fond of Lightroom is that as I do freelancing photography, it allows me to edit the photos I've taken in batches, thus making the job easier and efficient. The presets also allows me to create a consistent mood and theme all throughout the photos for a certain events so it really appears professional looking.

Inconvénients :

Although it is a really good software, Lightroom, like any other Adobe products, needs a substantial dedication and time for you to learn it. Anyone who has no background in using Adobe products will probably be easily confuse with all the icons and tools therein so I don't think it is that beginner friendly.

Adobe Lightroom, The Best Photo Editor

Commentaires : Overall, Lightroom has become the core of my everyday operations, and it's the single software I rely on the most. The initial implementation was a bit rough due to the complexity of Lightroom's Professional Tools but now, it has become integral to my role.

Avantages :

Lightroom has everything a Photo Editor can think of. From basic editing like manipulating brightness and contrast, to more advanced features like HSL Split Tone, Masking, Layers, and Tone Curves, Lightroom has it all in one place and is the benchmark product in its industry.

Inconvénients :

Starting up with Lightroom as a beginner is a bit steep and challenging. Lightroom has a vast palette of tools and features that appear overwhelming for a newbie but the learning and experimenting is actually fun.

Soooo buggy

Commentaires : I have been using LR since LR 1. I loved it for years. The move to cloud based functionality while understandable from a Developer-support position has been expensive and extremely frustrating.

Inconvénients :

I'm using a new Mac with 16 Ram, just loaded my first job so this Catalog is SMALL and it is very hard to work It wont even hold a filter selection so its basically useless.

Commentaires : It is a great all in one editor, especially for editing large batches of photographs. It is the industry standard on that front.

Avantages :

It is very powerful editting software, at a really competitive rate. It also integrates nicely within the Adobe ecosystem, especially working well with Photoshop.

Inconvénients :

Takes some getting used to, especially how the files are imported vs loaded into Lightroom for editing.

Lightroom is a foundational component to my photography workflow

Commentaires : Lightroom makes my workflow so much easier as a photographer, and I can't imagine using or recommending another software to other photographers.

Avantages :

I've been using Lightroom for over ten years, first as a photographer, and now in my career in communications and marketing as well. The majority of how I use it is in my photography "side hustle" where I shoot portraits, weddings, and landscapes. The importing and file organization is excellent, and I love the rating system as well.

Inconvénients :

The clone stamp tool leaves something to be desired- I wish it was more like the one one Photoshop.

User presets are a game-changer!

Commentaires : I use the web app for editing pictures I've taken with my DLR, and it's really easy to use, then to save to folders in my Dropbox. I use the app on my phone for editing social media images that are sent to me by WhatsApp from clients. Some of them are awful, but I always find a preset that makes them look amazing.

Avantages :

User presets. Spend some time looking through other users presets and save the ones you like. When you come to edit, it's super-easy to really change up your images with one click. I also buy preset groups from Creative market. Perfect if you're working for a brand and want to keep it consistent.

Inconvénients :

Bit clunky when selecting multiple images to arrange on the desktop app.

Why you need Lightroom if you are in the Media industry.

Commentaires : Lightroom has improved my media business threefold. It allows me to be efficient with my time, therefore, providing my business with a better profit margin.

Avantages :

This software besides being affordable is reliable, user-friendly, and efficient. I prefer Lightroom over other editing software because it is easy to understand, learn and use all the different tools it offers. It has cut my post-processing time in half and allows me to do all the post-processing steps like importing, selecting, editing, exporting into many customizable formats and sharing through my other devices all in one place. I cannot live without this software.

Inconvénients :

The only feature I dont like it is: With one of the recent updates, the importing process now also makes a 2nd copy of the master file on your computer/hard drive therefore now having the original, a copy, plus the exported image for a total of 3 files for the same image taking up storage space.

Review of Lightroom

Commentaires : Overall, Lightroom is a great app, it saves me from a lot of stress by helping me edit multiple images at the same time and also with the bulk export function

I really like that Lightroom has both the system software and the mobile application because it really helps improve picture quality and even as a beginner using the app, you can get a lot of things done as it is very User friendly. I can say anywhere that with Lightroom even if the image was initially wrong you can make the necessary changes and make it just right. One thing I like about the system software is how you can edit multiple images at once

Inconvénients :

I feel that the software can be improved, normally you can edit multiple images at once but the edit you can do to multiple images is limited. If it can be improved it'll make the app really better

Photo editing at your fingertips

Commentaires : I enjoy photo editing and Adobe Lightroom make it even more enjoyable with it's powerful photo editing and management features. While I would love to see more photoshop tools integrated in the program, I would still recommend this program to anyone interested in taking their photos to the next level.

Avantages :

Lightroom is very easy to use, has a great interface and is also very affordable. I like that you can get the app free with almost all the desktop features. This makes it easy for photographers to edit their images on-the-go. When teaching photography to my class, this is the 'go to' app I instruct them to download. I also love that in the mobile app there is a learn and discover section so you can continue to develop your editing skills.

Inconvénients :

Lightroom doesn’t have anywhere near the same amount of features as Photoshop or other more expensive programs. Recently there was an update where they added, some features from photoshop but they still have some more work to do for photographers to not continue their edits in photoshop. It would be nice to see Adobe Lightroom introduce social media integration or video editing features built-in.

Lighten your room using Lightroom!

Inconvénients :

One of the things that I don't like about Lightroom is that it has no layers or bend modes. It is also limiting when it comes to editing features.

It's a must

Commentaires : I can successfully organize my pictures, i can retouch and perfect them with ease, I can go from desktop to mobile and pick up the work and continue - I like this the most.

Avantages :

If you are a photographer, be that on a professional basis or a hobbyist, you can't expect to create awesome shots with the camera only. A good post-processing software is needed. Lightroom is the "industry standard", every other editor is compared against it, in the features, in organizing tools, sharing features, with Adobe family software integrations

Inconvénients :

It's a little annoying, that it needs a little too much resources, cpu and ram. I had to switch hardware because of this. The 20gb cloud space offered in the basic subscription is too little.

Avantages :

I wouldn't say that the application is easy to use, especially for those who are not familiar with image editing, myself, when I installed it, two years ago, I found it quite difficult and I looked for many videos on youtube that could help me. But once you get the hang of it, get more familiar with the tools, you won't want to edit anywhere else. I find the application very complete, with several functions, with the option of filters saved by the user, which make it very easy as well. One thing that might seem small, but I really like it and haven't seen it in similar apps, is the option to "zero" the edit I was doing quite easily.

Inconvénients :

it's been a while since, in the "mask" option you could select only the sky, or a "subject". I only managed to do this once! Every other time the app restarts and I lose everything I've edited. So, this function, which is not that new, doesn't work on my device, nor on my husband's device.
