Commentaires : Mon expérience générale a été très bonne. Il m'a fallu du temps pour apprendre à l'utiliser correctement, cependant une fois le fonctionnement intégré, c'est un vrai régal.

Avantages :

J'apprécie toutes les possibilités offertes par Final Cut Pro pour faire des montages vidéos de qualité. L'outil est extrêmement complet, ce qui laisse vraiment place à une création sans limite, tout y est : musiques, sons, effets, transitions, et tout un tas de réglages à effectuer pour des montages plus complexes. On peut personnaliser à fond nos vidéos.

Inconvénients :

C'est un outil complexe qui nécessite un réel apprentissage pour le prendre en main et avoir des résultats incroyables. Il faut aussi prévoir un ordinateur puissant avec beaucoup de place pour que l'utilisation soit fluide. Les bibliothèques de projets prennent énormément de place.

Univers Mac

Avantages :

Rapidité d'exécution de tâche sur les nouvelles puces M1 et M2 .Pas besoin d'un abonnement mensuel et il ya une période d'essai large pour se familiariser avec le logiciel avant son achat.

Inconvénients :

Seulement disponible sur Mac OS et la prise en main est un peu compliqué pour une personne qui vient d'un autre logiciel de montage.

Avantages :

c'est dextérité avec ce logiciel rapide en exécution des taches et avec lui le montage des roches est fluide plusieurs fonctionnalités m'ont intéressé.

Inconvénients :

les fonctionnalités de final cut bien qu'excellente me prennent assez d'espace au niveau de ma mémoire de t'elle sorte que pour une petite roche monté mon disque en souffre car il se remplit rapidement ce qui fait que le rendu mets un peu de temps

Good value for the money, at the very top

Commentaires : A very good value for the money if you're planning on investing in it for the long run, my company bought it for seniors to start using it, as they mentioned it to be more advanced, the ability to edit your shots in high res, adding that cinematic mode on it and tracking the focus with object tracking sold me, the color grading is on par with high end film software and the rendering speeds on our iMacs are solid, i do recommend it if you're planning on using it on the long run.

Avantages :

It's one of the best video editing tools in the market for Mac users, it has unique features that a lot of other editors don't have, the object tracking feature literally is out of this world, and the cinematic mode makes you feel like as if your video was shot straight from a cinema camera, the fast rendering, the auto HDR capabilities are top notch, ability to edit the prores from iphone is perfect, and you can use it to edit 360 videos for virtual tours. all in all #1.

Inconvénients :

The price, the price is really really high, considering it's a one time payment, however if your projects are advanced and you work at a business that values top quality it's not an issue whatsoever

Get Started editing video with Final Cut Pro

Commentaires : I have been using Final Cut Pro for many years and have created and edited short movies, commercials, videos for the web, animation and effects videos. It is one of my go to tools when I need to put together video projects.

Avantages :

Final Cut Pro is a complete video editing software from Apple and has been around for many years. It is easy to get started with FCP, and It is a great option for editing short and full length videos and has basic and some advanced effects features and can be enhanced with add-ons. It also supports many camera systems out of the box making it a very powerful video editing tool.

Inconvénients :

Final Cut Pro does have a considerable learning curve to master it.

Awesome Video Editor

Commentaires : Overall, it has been a positive experience using Final Cut Pro. Recently switched to Mac so I cannot recommend any other software tan Final Cut for simple yet effective video editing.

Avantages :

It is very easy to use. It runs very smoothly on a mac For someone new, it doesn't take much time to learn to use it. Creating motion related graphics is also effective and simple to use.

Inconvénients :

The only con is it works only on Apple devices.

Great for people who don't like traditional editing software

Commentaires : It's a great product for a very specific editing market. Solo editors working in social media, or only occasionally having to do editing jobs will feel right at home. Editors in a collaborative high-pressure environment are better off with more traditional editing solutions.

Avantages :

It's a clever new way of working with clips in a timeline and clips in general that is entirely keyword/metadata-based. Young people new to editing feel immediately at home.

Inconvénients :

Their fluent timeline and keyword-based approach to handling and organizing clips can be frustrating when all you want to do is create folders and subfolders to organize your footage. Also, their fluent timeline can be counter-productive when you're building a sequence like a big mosaic and need to rely on everything staying in place all the time.

Final Cut Pro is a must have for indie Filmmakers

Commentaires : Excellent program and I wouldn't be without it! If you are an indie filmmaker you must have this program. It can handle big files like a champ which is critical for me. I've struggled with other editing programs and Final Cut Pro is the only way to go for me.

Avantages :

Final Cut Pro is fast! The workflow is clean and neat and render times are really fast. User interface is easy to navigate and very forgiving. I love the built in transitions though I usually create my own after a point. Lots of render options which is great for web base content and film festival submissions as well as best quality product creation.

Inconvénients :

Layering can sometimes feel clunky when dropping tracks and video into the timeline. Final Cut Pro's need to snap tracks into a place of its choose is at odds with my own preferences sometimes.

An industry standard video editing staple

Commentaires : Because we use apple products at my workplace.We have ventured into the Use of final cut pro for video editing and internal content development.

Avantages :

It has all the functionality that you would need with video editing and being able to make a professional or even commercial grade product for end users to view.

Inconvénients :

It can be a costly program to keep up with and necessary to have a Specific operating system like osx to even use this effectively.

An amazing editing tool fell from grace

Commentaires : I have been using Final Cut Pro for more than 10 years. It was way above Adobe Premier and second to Avid. However, the company decide not to continue to develop this beautiful tool, it fall from grace.
However, it's an editing tool that you don't have to pay for subscription fee and it's sophisticated enough to win other non-professional editing tools. It offers a sound and graphic library that doesn't cost you extra dollars.
Its editing technique is similar to adobe premiere, except some shortcut.
So, for beginners, this is a great tool.

Avantages :

1. No subscription fee 2. Still a professional editing tool, although it can not be used for professional editing 3. The basic sound and graphic library is better than the free adobe premiere library 4. Output is still practical for social media.

Inconvénients :

1. The output is no longer compatible with ProTool, it needs the third party software to bridge, but that software has so many problem, it doesn't work well. That's the end of the professional editing software life. it's very sad that the company not invest into such a wonderful editing tools and let it die slowly over time. 2. Sound and colour correction are two weakness of this software. It's impossible for the online editing. So, it becomes the amateur editor's toy.

Commentaires : I think it’s a great software and I often recommend it to my colleagues in the industry (who use Apple to edit).

Avantages :

I like the user interface of Final Cut Pro. It is intuitive to use and is updated frequently. It is also highly optimized to be run on Apple devices. As a result, render times are very good and the relationship between computer and software is seamless. It is also a one-time payment which is refreshing in a world where every company is switching to subscription based pricing models.

Inconvénients :

The only thing I dislike about Final Cut Pro is that it’s a little bit harder, at least to me, to use Motion (another software) when doing motion graphics. I think the Premiere Pro and After Effects was a bit easier to use for this purpose but I would still prefer to use Final Cut Pro overall.

Top-of-two Professional Video Editors

Commentaires : Working with budding artists and small businesses, we don't create gigantic full-length features, but we still want the power and flexibility of a full video editing solution. FCP has been great for us and fits perfectly into our software workflow. The software is frequently updated (both good and bad), so we often will open the app and find a feature we've been waiting for...and other times find that things have been moved or compatibility issues with old/new files.

Avantages :

Getting started, FCP can be picked up really quickly. The interface makes sense and once you learn the keyboard shortcuts, the flow picks up tremendously. On top of this, it feels quick and snappy. Background processing is quick, so we can view and edit clips in high quality with little wait time. We also love that clips in the timeline move "magnetically" so we can rearrange clips without disrupting the others already placed. Lastly, the caption editor makes adding subtitles and captions as simple as dropping clips in the timeline-and it exports to all major caption formats.

Inconvénients :

FCP being exclusive to macOS, we obviously can't collaborate with users on Windows systems. On that note, collaborative tools aren't as robust, but being a small firm, we rarely use those. There's limited third-party plugin support, which we'd really love because there are some excellent color grading and filter plugins available that are incompatible with FCP without using time-consuming work arounds that not every user will be aware of.

A (Final) Cut Above

Commentaires : We're using FCPX to rapidly edit and create media for clients. Using that on our new M1 Macs has sped up our editing process and the magnetic timeline only helps with that. Great work Apple.

Avantages :

As with all Apple software, it's intuitive. Things are where they should be and although there's a steep curve to adapt to it, it's quickly overcome.

Inconvénients :

It looks complex. Adobe software comes with a lot of guidance, FCPX doesn't seem to have that, I felt thrown in at the deep end.

Worth trying for beginners

Commentaires : Started using it in university during my master's and keep working with it for the first years of my career. It was the perfect tool to get introduced to editing.

Avantages :

Final Cut Pro has a nice interface, easy-to use, various presets and elements. It's ideal for filmmakers and editors starting video making and editing.

Inconvénients :

It doesn't as many features and presets as other similar software.

Avantages :

Deep toolset in a fluid, easily approachable and precise interface. Ideal for beginners, but after passing the learning curve, there is a deeply complex program beneath. It is, therefore, ideal for both beginners and veterans.

Inconvénients :

Some functionality a UI features don't make sense when you have come from a program like Premiere Pro, however, with a learning curve you can get used to these.

Useful Tool

The variety of editing transitions, effects, etc - are terrific.

Inconvénients :

Compared to other editing software, I found this to be not as user friendly and also a little more expensive.

My best choice software for instructional videos

Commentaires : There are tons of features within FCPX which makes it a very flexible tool for creating professional instructional videos.

Avantages :

I have been using Final Cut Pro for sometime mainly to create numerous instructional videos. I have always relied on its great features and abilities to produce short and concise instructional videos. With the use of the powerful trimming and cutting tools, I am able to edit and rearrange footage with ease to create a seamless, cohesive videos. Additionally, the audio editing process is simplified and with abilities to adjust volume levels, remove background noise and add audio effects. The result has been very clear and easy-to-follow instructional videos. The Title and graphics include many title and graphic templates. Occasionally I would import custom graphics for enhanced visual aids and explanations for the videos. With FCPX video effects, I am able to include some transitions and filters just to add in visual interest and emphasis.

Inconvénients :

While FCPX has a great community and accessible online tutorials, I have found that the third party Video Effects/motion graphics and templates are quite expensive in comparison to Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Overall, It comes out as an expensive editing tool and can be complex with limited support for certain video and audio formats.

It's the most effective video editing software!

I can easily make videos of any duration due to it. The filters and collaborative tools help me save myself a considerable amount of time. The software allows me to post my content on my social media sites, which is incredibly useful. It has a relatively user-friendly interface despite being very powerful software.

Inconvénients :

The program is quite pricey compared to other software options, and the fact that most collaboration tools don't offer a free version is a significant issue.

Commentaires : Fantastic, creating content in Final Cut is something I really enjoy, although my first passion is photography, video creation also occupies an important place in my life, and with this software that passion becomes even more interesting.

Avantages :

Let's start by emphasizing that it's an Apple product, and like everything from Apple, it's perfectly developed, design and integrated into the ecosystem. The editing functions are so many, the effects and transitions are beautiful and useful, and, although I don't consider it easy to use, I don't consider it difficult either, with some practice you learn to use it and it becomes very fun to create audiovisual content there. Finally, the rendering speed is lightning fast, the fastest of all video editing programs.

Perfect for beginners

When I transitioned from Windows to macOS, Final Cut Pro was one of the first programs I installed. Being a beginner, I found it intuitive and got the hang of it in no time. With lots of tutorials available on the Internet on how to get specific things done with the software, I was never stuck, even as a beginner. When compared with the main competition, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro is a lot cheaper, and the one-off purchase price saves one a lot of money in the long run.

Inconvénients :

Apart from the limited number of effects you get by default, there isn't much to complain about.
