I still can't believe that they offer all these tools for such a low price. It's super easy to use on both the business and client's end.
The only piece of Indy that I think needs some rethinking would be the manual time tracker. It is a lot of scrolling can lead to mistakes with input which then gives false reporting on time.

Commentaires : Overall, I have not had issues with Indy and will continue to use it. I find it extremely helpful for me as a small business owner to find an all in one experience for my business needs without breaking the bank.
Avantages :
I love how easy it is to create contracts and invoices on the fly. The customer service is pretty responsive in terms of timeliness and active listening.
Inconvénients :
I would like to see the ability to link contracts and invoices together for the same client so they can have all of the information at once. I also would like to see the ability for automatic payments for remaining balances after deposits are paid.

Avantages :
It’s a place where creatives can organize and manage things/business aspects that are typically hard to manage all in one place. Also I like that they lowered the price because it doesn’t really offer ALL of the features of business management that other software offers.
Inconvénients :
It’s too basic…lacks in important areas like accounting, exporting documentation, client management…these areas aren’t fully developed. Makes tracking difficult come tax time… can’t customize things… also you can’t integrate Indy with other business management tools

A really great software for contracted small business owners
Commentaires : Overall, Indy has made billing, invoicing, and receiving payments much easier than how I was keeping track of things before. The whole platform has reduced my time spent filing and organizing as well, and it is nice to be able to do lots of things in once place. I was introduced to Indy through User Testing and realized it was a tool I could use for my own business, and since using the Pro version for the past few months the product has only improved. The pricing is wonderful, especially for single small business owners where expenses are a huge concern, and it is definitely worth the price. I would like to see more integration with other products (like Google Drive) so the two main platforms I use can be seamlessly integrated and updated all the time no matter which platform I am in. It is an extremely helpful software and platform that I am very happy I was introduced to, and I am looking forward to future improvements and updates as time goes on.
Avantages :
Invoicing and Billing is the most important part of the so that I use, and the current set-up is very easy to use and saves me lots of time compared to how I kept track of my billable hours before Indy. Different features are easily integrated together, like making existing project tasks and times into tracked time sessions with billing rates. Being able to connect my existing Google calendar (which is what I mainly use to keep track of time slots for tasks) and then being able to further edit and assign tasks later on in Indy is very easy and helpful so I can quickly add tasks on the go or in the field and organize later. Having multiple and interchangeable options for payment has made accepting payments much easier and faster for my clients. Keeping projects, clients, tasks, etc. all organized and grouped together is relatively easy and is easy to do in multiple locations. The app is also great in times that I need to access info on the go or whenever I am not in front of my computer. Overall, I think everything is pretty helpful so far and is always improving.
Inconvénients :
It is sometimes unclear if assigning emails and "types" to people are going to alert them or send them emails when they are added, so having alerts or ways to confirm what is being sent and emailed (or evening having the option to not send anything without approval first) would be very helpful to make sure my clients aren't getting confused with several emails and making them use things that are not needed. When I sent out my first invoice using Indy, it was really difficult to see in preview what the final invoice and how the payment options would be displayed or how my clients would interact with it (I sent a test invoice to myself to understand so I could explain it to my clients if there were questions, but now have an archived invoice in my list that I can't get rid of now). Also, only being able to assign one client to be able to pay invoices is a little frustrating at times (I tend to work with lots of couples), so it would be helpful to have the options to assign multiple clients to be able to pay or view only. I also do not use Indy for my current contract and form templates (but I would really like to) because there is not enough editability or customizable features currently to make the forms/contracts look the way I want. Instead I use Google Suite (docs) to create these and Adobe Sign for client signatures, so it would be great to only have to use one platform to do all of this.

Regarding sending invoices to multiple recipients with the ability to view/pay, that is something you can do but might not be so clear. When you create an invoice, it makes you select a main recipient. In the setting block to the right of the invoice editor, you can add additional recipients. When you send the invoice, each recipient has the ability to pay the invoice. I'll work with the team to improve this flow. Last, if you ever need anything at all, don't hesitate to send us a message via the in-app chat button.

Best platform for small businesses!
Commentaires : My overall experience with Indy has been incredible. I worked with them when they were still known as Tispr, and even through their entire rebranding, they were super communicative and helpful. I think they're providing freelancers and small business owners with all of the tools they need to be successful. As a user, it's easy to see that the team genuinely cares about helping their customers succeed rather than just collect a subscription fee every month. Using Indy has made it easy to stay on top of the side of business that nobody enjoys (invoicing, contracts, proposals, etc.)
Avantages :
This website really has everything you need in order to run your small business. From invoicing, to contracts, to project management — it's truly an all-in-one tool! Plus, the price is unbeatable. I still can't believe that they offer all these tools for such a low price. It's super easy to use on both the business and client's end. I've used it since I started my business in early 2020 and haven't had any clients encounter problems with paying invoices or signing contracts via Indy. I've recommended this tool to every small business owner I know because of it's affordability and ease of use.

Avantages :
I have been using Indy for a short period of time but in that time, I have accomplished a lot in my business. Indy has helped me stay on top of my tasks and get organized when I am feeling overwhelmed by my number of clients. I appreciate that things can be archived but very rarely can you completely delete something. I love the time tracking feature, it has prevented me from using multiple different software. Everything I need for my virtual assistance business is in one place
Inconvénients :
Contracts should be a little more detailed in things we can edit. While many important things are provided in templates, there have been times where I have had to copy and paste my contracts into a word document so that I can add or redact certain things. This can be a bit of a grueling task. I also wish the app had more capabilities.

You actually can edit our contract templates to remove or add text and clauses. The step-by-step wizard helps you fill out the basic contract information. On the last step (either step 3 or 8 depending on which contract you're using), there is a button that will let you fully customize the contract. It is a bit hidden in the process so we'll be sure to find ways to improve that. Commentaires : Indy has been a huge help to me as a new business owner. The contracts alone were worth every penny of this software. I could not have launched a new business without the help that Indy gave me. It saved me a ton of time that I could use to concentrate on my business content.

Indy is a fantastic and affordable program to assist small business owners with keeping track of projects, invoices, time, and customer information. I would highly recommend this program for anyone looking for a one stop shop to help with business needs.

Great for my business needs
Commentaires : Customer service has been great the few times I reached out to them. They've continued to add new features (that I don't really use). It's been easy to use generally.
Avantages :
I use the file hosting feature mostly. I joined back when it was called Tispr and find it easy to use, especially for the cost.
Inconvénients :
There's really not anything I dislike. However, the two things I would add to the functions are 1. link tracking (how many times was a public link opened/accessed? 2. ability to create links from multiple uploaded files at once.

A flexible and capable CRM & invoicing tool
Commentaires : Overall, I've found Indy to be a pretty capable all-around CRM, time tracker, contract manager, and invoice creation solution. The beauty of Indy is how all-in-one it is. Instead of having to pay for multiple subscriptions, I can just use Indy and have access to all of the features I need. This alone is a big time and money savings.
Avantages :
I love how all-in-one Indy is. Instead of having to purchase or pay subscriptions for multiple software solutions, I can just use Indy and have access to a CRM, invoicing and payment platform, time tracking tool, contract manager/creator, and more. I also like that I don't have to learn multiple software platforms and bounce between them. This is a huge time savings when I am trying to meet a project deadline.
Inconvénients :
Some features of Indy are paywalled behind a higher tier. While this is not a dealbreaker when using the software, some more advanced features such as time tracking and time tracking invoice integration are not available to entry-level users.

Great PM Tool with Powerful Billing Features
Commentaires : My overall experience has been good. The Indy makes tracking your tasks and objectives easy and the ability to add tracked time to invoices is nice. (If you bill by the hour - but you shouldn't)
Avantages :
Indy is a great project management toll for a freelancer or small team to track workflow, proposals and invoicing. The invoicing and billing features are great to offer clients a solutions to pay quickly.
Inconvénients :
Seems still in development and new features are being released. It feels a little behind some of the other industry software but is taking the time to fix what other solutions are doing wrong.

I chose this software over others because it was affordable and there was a built-in calendar. I can also integrate my Google calendar.
Inconvénients :
I wish it also had accounting. I have to use separate software for that.

Like it, worth to pay for it

1- Full of benefits that motivate achievement. 2- Very easy to use. 3- Integrated in terms of solutions that will not often require the user to search for complements. 4- less expensive.
Inconvénients :
1- There is no option for multiple currencies. 2- There is no well-functioning application, and if any, it is not available for the region I am in (Kuwait)

Easy and convenient to use on a weekly basis
Avantages :
I love that I can easily send contracts to my clients and get them stored in one place. Same with invoicing, so easy to use and it saves me a ton of time. It also makes them look professional and helps to avoid all kinds of attachments.
Inconvénients :
I've been using the app on my phone when I am on the go and I found it very challenging to see where all my contracts are. I don't know why, but there is no button to see a particular contract. I wish there was a button at the bottom next to "INVOICES" button that said "CONTRACTS" so I could easily click it and see all of them in one place. As for the contracts templates, I also wish they could be saved, so that I do not need to copy and paste it every time when I make a new custom contract. Maybe its something I haven't figured out yet, but I have to copy and paste my template from scratch each time.

Love Indy as a freelance creator!
Commentaires : Overall, 5 stars-- can't really be beat for the price. It's significantly streamlined my workflow!
Avantages :
I really love the contract templates- they do a great job of covering my basic bases, as well as ensuring that my work is still available to me to use in a portfolio capacity after delivery. Indy definitely champions freelancers/contractors, and this shows in the contract templates! I also love being able to keep track of all of my clients in one place, it's so much more efficient than the spreadsheet system I was using before!
Inconvénients :
Some of the features could probably be flushed out a bit better-- time tracking feature feels a little clunky/too many steps sometimes, and the one gripe I have with the invoicing feature is the inability to select from an existing template.

Very Affordable
Commentaires : This application makes it super easy for my small business to setup contracts, create invoices, send invoices and receive payments. It's actually helped create more credibility for my very small business - making it look bigger and more professional. But most impressive is how inexpensive Indy is.

You can send a contract to 2 clients but it may be a bit hidden. First, you'll assign a primary client. Then on the final send step, click the 'Recipients' tab to add an additional recipients. Great Software
Commentaires : I love it. I would choose to use indy over any other project management app. It is a great software for freelancers like me who have a few clients a month. I can keep track of my hours worked along with tasks and projects.
Avantages :
The price point and user experience. It is easy to navigate and you can catch on pretty easily.
Inconvénients :
How you couldn't edit the columns when making an invoice. I wish I had the ability to delete the unnecessary columns for certain invoices

Spend More time with your clients not charging them

Avantages :
Indy helped me remove a few hours of work each week monitoring time spent with each client, and sending out invoices. Often times I would forget to send out invoices and send invoices at inconsistent time schedules which would be a point of friction for the people I work with.
Inconvénients :
The time tracking feature is still a little difficult to use. I don't work on individual "projects" for clients, instead just working maintaining and improving their websites and responding to small updates. It would be nice to be able to track time for an individual client/company vs a project.

Easy, Thorough Contract Templates
Avantages :
Indy is incredibly easy to use, I find it most helpful for drafting and customizing contracts. I have a need for a lot of contracts in my fashion design businesses, contracts with clients, contracts with independent contractors, contracts for referrals within my industry, etc. Its been an amazing resource and so much easier and cheaper than having a lawyer draft all of my contracts!
Inconvénients :
Sometimes I wish there were more areas I could customize or tweak the fine print to fit my needs.

You can customize our templates to adjust the wording to fit your needs. You can find this option on the last step of the contract before you add your signature. Good choice for freelancers on a budget

Avantages :
Easy to invoice, nice reminders when someone has viewed the invoice and left comments, too.
Inconvénients :
The cost felt like a bit much on an ongoing basis for a solo freelancer based on what was provided. Hard to get clients on board with using the system. Not every client is going to want to invoice through here, either, which is a challenge I had. I had one client that paid through here, but it felt like one more software to use that I didn't need so I simplified and moved elsewhere.

I love the variety of features that allows me to accomplish all my customer tasks from invoicing to contract management in one platform.

Work needs to be done on the UI adding more features for seamless movement amongst tasks from various areas.
