Powerful AI for Pennies and SUPER Easy to Use

Commentaires : Pictory is part of the overall package of programs I use to create videos. I start with Pictory to get the base slide graphics, animated graphics and on-screen titles. I use HeyGen to create the talking-head spokesman videos. Then I bring everything together using Wondershare Filmora which has really gotten very sophisticated for the low cost. I supplement the presentation with graphics and additional video from Canva. It's a dynamite combination.

Avantages :

You just paste your script and it selects the videos and the music. There is a TON of high-quality music and videos to choose from, and it's all included in the program which sells at a very affordable price.

Inconvénients :

It's doesn't create "talking head" videos. By that I mean having an AI-generated spokesperson reading the script. That would be the only thing I would like to see added.

EVERYTHING! Horrible! I bought a subscription. After I bought a subscription, I cannot log in at all! It keeps saying, "Subscription not found." I tried to contact support and they have NOT been helpful at all. They take your money but don't give you any support. They are happy to take your money but don't provide any support!

An amazing tool that encapsulates everything you need to produce content

Commentaires : it has been smashing to use Pictory and it has saved me tons of time and effort for producing content that would normally take me weeks and different people to work together.

Avantages :

I like that it has reduced my work time tremendously as I am able to convert my written content into a video format, and also use high quality premium human voice. This is a package that covers all my needs for producing my content!

Inconvénients :

The prompts for searching for video is good, but we need more video content that can be searched through the prompt.

Commentaires : Initially, it took a bit of getting used to but I believe they are continually improving their product.

Avantages :

The more you use it the more familiar it becomes. Also, customer support has been beneficial.

Inconvénients :

I need to use Alamy for some paid images since images for certain, specific people or companies are not available in the Pictory library. Unfortunately, using Alamy can become a bit expensive. Maybe in the future Pictory could include Alamy either as part of their library or as a paid add-on.

Avantages :

I like the script to video feature and the article to video feature.

Inconvénients :

I haven’t found a way to set the aspect ratio for a video prior to creation; and once you create a video with a specific dimension, when you go to resize it for another platform, it doesn’t resize well. For instance, when you make a YouTube video 16:9 and go to resize it for TikTok video 9:16 the images exceed the border. It would also be nice if victory had a talking avatar creation feature. It could also be a little faster.

I can quickly creatte a video with voice over etc. using my own snippts of videos and images

I would like to be able to have a better way of matching the voice over to the video. To have the voice describe what is on the scene at that moment.

Commentaires : They have a great Facebook group and they roll new features all the time!I love getting a Pictory update email and seeing what new cutting edge features they released and watching the really helpful tutorial videos that always accompany the new features.It is so easy to use. There is zero learning curve. It has made me so much more presentable via video because I typically use a lot of filler words like umm, so, right?, etc. Pictory deletes these with the flip of a toggle. I feel so much more confident with my video content because of these features.

Avantages :

Being able to cut out text from transcription of my recording and the video deleting that exact scene instantly is so amazing. It save soooo much time.

Inconvénients :

I'd love to see them amp up their folders / video organization system. It is a little tough to navigate your files at a glance and I'd love a sub folder feature.

Fantastic Software Tool for Creating YouTube Videos

I really love the great job you and your team have done on creating a wonderful platform on which to create amazing videos. I have a new YouTube Channel called "Poetry in Motion" (see link below). So far, I have created 88 YouTube videos and YouTube shorts that "bring to life" some of the many poems I have written. I started this channel about 4 weeks ago, and already I have over 17,000 subscribers. I love the number of videos that I have to choose from in your video library, and the choices of background music are awesome. Your AI voice library is great, but I do wish you offered more Eleven Labs options.

Inconvénients :

There seem to be some "bugs" in the logic that controls frame lengths. When I make a change to the length of a given frame, the software seems to change the length of other frames. Also, when I position the cursor on a given frame, and then go to the video library to select a scene, the position of the frame I originally selected is changed to another frame. I have to always double check which frame I am on.

Commentaires : My goal was simple. I have a hit podcast with high levels of audio production and great content. I wanted to move that to video and YouTube, but its daily and at least for the conceivable future will not earn money. So I needed a quick way to construct a video to augment the audio, but it has to look professional and have excellent graphics.

Avantages :

It's the ease of use and speed with which it produces a quality product. I don't have time to learn all of the mechanics of editing and production with a new tool. It automates the whole process, but it looks great.

Inconvénients :

There are a couple of things about it that are problematic or not as easy. I find placing your own text on a scene (or slide) is workable but not easy. I've made some mistakes that took time to fix. I wish the branding elements were as easy and as creative as the rest.

Videos Made In The Easy Way

Commentaires : I simply love it, I subscribed to the trial, tried making my first text-to-video, and once I saw the result, I didn't have to wait for the 14 days to pass by, I immediately subscribed to one of the monthlu plans.

Avantages :

I love the speed of the text-to-video feature. This is the one I have been using the most. I have not used the long-to-short video yet, but I need this feature, too.

Inconvénients :

In the audio or voiceover, it's difficult to edit my own voiceover when I record it completely outside pictory, so when I upload it, it becomes difficult to cut certain parts of my audio to fit exactly in the video scenes.

Excellent Resource for Non-Technical People who want to produce videos

Avantages :

The ease with which I've been able to create high quality videos with no previous experience. I am a novice with NO experience creating videos and yet with Pictory I've produced 70+ videos (1 -15 minutes long) over the last 9 months. LOVE it! The result is HIGH quality videos that I can quickly edit if needed.

Inconvénients :

No complaints here. It does what it promises and it's easy!

Repurpose your content with a few clicks

Commentaires : The main benefit I've experienced thus far is the ability to repurpose written content - from blog snippets to Instagram captions - into short videos for primarily Instagram stories but you can also use it for YouTube, LinkedIn and more. You spend so much time writing blogs and captions, so why not extend the lifetime of your written content by creating videos? That's is where the attention is at.

Avantages :

The main reason I purchased Pictory was to repurpose my written content into video. I really enjoy using their "text-to-video" feature, especially as you can upload your own images and even record your own voice over. The tool is intuitive to use and I know it will get even better over time. The ability to edit video by editing text --- wow, this is incredible! Highly recommend if you want a quick, easy way to use more video in your content creation process.

Inconvénients :

- sometimes the images it chose to match the text was not quite ideal. I just swapped those out for different images. - would love to see more images/videos added to the library - looking forward to the ability to change the font of the captions to match my brand fonts (currently there is only one default font available)

A great product to maximize your content output...for certain industries

Minimum effort for maximum output

Commentaires : Churning videos very quickly based on the text I input. Their AI to pick up suitable media files to match my text in the respective scenes really is great and gives me a great idea on what to insert should I need to replace them without thinking much.

I used it primarily for text to video in a corporate setting. The UI is very intuitive and easy to use. Pictory selected a wide range of clips that aligned with my text, and these were most often usable without changes. I replaced a few of the clips and images with my own media, and this process was quick and easy. If you're looking for a simple way to create videos, without learning high-end production software, Pictory is the best option I've found.

Inconvénients :

The AI generated voices were better than some, but I felt it was obvious that they were AI. This won't work in my particular environment, so I uploaded my own audio. This was simple, and the audio synced well with the text and video.
