The key feature that makes this possible is the ability to add custom code steps in Python or JavaScript inside workflows. That means I’m not limited to simple “if this then that” automations: I can run validations, calculations, and transformations on incoming data. I can call third‑party APIs that aren’t natively integrated. I can implement branching logic that would normally live in a backend. Combined with its integrations (Slack, Gmail, CRMs, etc.), Albato becomes a pretty capable orchestration engine for many everyday SaaS apps. Moreover, I got a lifetime deal from Appsumo, so it is a great value for money. Taking some booking details in a webhook and adding posts from the details in Facebook and Google calendar. That bit I worked out how to do pretty quickly as it does work in a logical way that makes sense so it's probably a lot more intuitive I'd say than some other automation software I've tried personally. However, stopping duplicates being created in Google Sheets I just couldn't get to work, tried lots of different Googled and ChatGPT experiments to get it working and failed.
